Mt Unicorn
Mt Unicorn
The Mt Unicorn Project is a large-scale molybdenum, copper and silver project with a 2012 JORC Mineral Resource of 208Mt @ 611 ppm Molybdenum equivalent with rhenium and indium byproducts. The project has been the subject of substantial historical investment and pre-feasibility work.
Mt Unicorn provides exposure to critical minerals – molybdenum (high strength , low alloy steels), rhenium (jet engine superalloys) and indium (electronics).
- Large-Scale Resource Base: Hosts a 2012 JORC Mineral Resource of 208Mt @ 611 ppm Molybdenum equivalent, containing critical minerals – molybdenum, rhenium and indium as well as copper and silver
- Resource upside potential: JORC resource from surface to 400m deep, drilling to 1200m shows mineralisation to end of hole, resource open in all directions
- Advanced Project History: Subject to substantial historical investment and pre-feasibility studies across key production and support areas.
- Critical Minerals Exposure: Provides exposure to critical minerals – molybdenum, rhenium and indium metals which have applications across steelmaking, infrastructure, electrification and industrial markets.
- Part of a wider “porphyry province” –other identified porphyries in the area with minimal exploration carried out – Mt Morgan , Stacey’s and Gentle Annie
- Mt Unicorn is analogous to a Climax Style porphyry deposit – first such deposit identified outside of North America – refer Henderson (largest Molybdenum deposit in the world) and Climax Mines
